Cappuccino & Espresso
Do you know any coffee beverage other than Coffee and Tea? . I heard about Cappuccino & Espresso many times, but I never attempted to know about it. After having my own blog, I thought, let me search for some information and post an article on this.
An Italian type of coffee made by topping of espresso with a creamy foam from steamed milk called micro foam. A cappuccino differs from a latte (Strong espresso coffee with a topping of frothed steamed milk), which is mostly milk and little foam. Cappuccino is defined as 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk and 1/3 frothed milk
In Italy, it is consumed almost exclusively in the day for breakfast; in other countries it may be consumed throughout the day or especially for dinner. Cappuccino is ideally prepared in a ceramic coffee cup, which is far better heat retention characteristics than glass or paper.
A quality shot of espresso, the most important way of preparing a cappuccino is the texture and temperature of the milk. When a well-trained barista steams the milk for a cappuccino, he will create “micro foam” by introducing very tiny bubbles of air into the milk. This gives the milk an extremely velvety texture and sweet taste.
Espresso
Italian word meaning “pressed coffee “, is a strong flavoured coffee beverage brewed by forcing steam through finely ground, darkly roasted coffee beans.
Due to its potency, straight espresso is considered by some to be an acquired taste, and it is served in small amounts called shots. Many coffee aficionados order their “single” or “double” (one or two shots in a glass) with a glass of cold water to clear the palate. Because espresso reacts quickly to oxygen, it should be consumed immediately after brewing.
Espresso is considered the general coffee in Italy. Ordering a coffee means ordering an espresso; this confuses foreigners in Italy and Italians abroad alike.
Espresso is also the basis for other drinks, such as lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, and mochas. A key component in the flavor of espresso is crema, a golden foam composed of oils, proteins, and sugars, which floats on the surface

Moment of Glory. Scorpions.
A moment of glory called evolution
Could I see the world with the eyes of a child
A new beginning, a moment of freedom
Like angels are singing a song full of joy
This Side Of Heaven
Belongs To The Children
I will be there, when the future arrives
A moment of glory called evolution
Could I fly away like a bird in the Sky
No limitation, a new inspiration
A World that is free just as free as my mind
Communication
A new destination
The planet of visions is calling tonight
Another thousand years seem so long
I´m just a passenger
And the ride ride has just begun
Moment of glory
A moment of glory called evolution
Could I see the world with the eyes of a child
A new beginning, a moment of freedom
Like angels are singing a song full of joy
This Side Of Heaven
Belongs To The Children
I will be there, when the future arrives
Moment of glory
Recently, I got a western music video collection of an album, which is untitled and no information of the band. It was simply superb. Live Symphony Orchestral songs. Superb rhythm guitar playing, melodious Cello lines, violin combination, lyrics, one duet and above all, superb melodies.
I searched the net; and at last I landed up with the band’s official site. I had gone through the biography of the band. It’s really interesting. Their story is full of obstacles, failures, dropping the band for 3 times.
It was the time of The Beatles; this band began in Hanover, Germany in 1964. Due to many failures, the band had split for 3 times. From 80’s onward, the band never looked back. It became Germany’s most successful hard rock band of all times.
The album Moment of Glory:
Artists:
Klaus Meine (Vocals)
Rudolf Schenker (Guitars)
Matthias Jabs (Guitars)
James Kottak (Drums)
Ken Taylor (Bass)
Songs:
1. Hurricane 2000. 6:02
2. Moment Of Glory. 5:07
3. Send Me An Angel. 6:19
4. Wind Of Change. 7:36
5. Crossfire. 6:47
6. Deadly Sting Suite. 7:22
7. Here In My Heart. 4:20
8. Still Loving You. 7:28
9. Big City Nights. 4:37
10 Lady Starlight. 5:32
All the songs are really awesome. The musical lines of Guitar, Cello are really wonderful. Voice of Klaus Meine, lyric, really makes the album a great hit.
If you have more information either about this album or the band or if you want to add more to this article, please feel free to write.

R. K. Narayan. The Guide.
Rasipuram Krishnaswamy Narayan
(October 10, 1906 – May 13, 2001)
# 1, Vellalar Street, Pursavakkom, Madras, India.
“I’d be quite happy if no more is claimed from me than being just a story-teller. Only the story matters, that is all. If readers read more significance into my stories than was meant originally, then that’s the reader’s understanding of things. But if a story is in tune completely with the truth of life, truth as I perceive it, then it will be automatically significant.”
Among many of Indian writers in English, R.K. Narayan has a special place in Indian history. As a novelist, he maintained India’s essence in all his works rather than adopting traditional western style.
Similar to Thomas Hardy’s Wessex, Narayan adopted his own way of creating his own fictional town called Malgudi, imitating typical south Indian city, His short story collection Malgudi Days took place in this exciting city of Malgudi. Some of his other novels too were written having Malgudi in mind.
He also travelled to United States in 1956 at the invitation of the Rockefeller Foundation. He began his career with writing short stories which were appeared mostly in The Hindu and also worked for some time as the Mysore correspondent for Justice, a Madras-based newspaper. His first work Swami and Friends was delayed for lack of publishing support.Graham Greene, through his mutual friend, was so much moved by Narayan’s new work and he supported it for publishing. After this novel, a stream of novels based on Malgudi flourished.
His characters are like Charles Dickens model, imitate real world character’s mind set, typical South Indian characters. This makes his novels loved my Indians. Later his novels became popular world wide.
He wrote his own life history: autobiography, he named it as My Days. A memoir, is an autobiography of R.K. Narayan. My Days is a beautifully compiled book that would otherwise seem like any other of Narayan’s novels, until one realises that it’s an actual narration of his life and his childhood.
The Guide : This novel made him so famous and popular. It was picturized in Hindi and later in other language. The book which begins as a comic look at the life of a rogue, but evolves into something quite different towards the end. This is also Narayan’s Malgudi Novel. Novel starts with the hero Raju narrating his story.
I never knew R.K.Narayan, until my graduation, where my Professor introduced him to me as an Indian writer of English. I started reading his work like, Swami and Friends, Malgudi Days , My Days, The Dark Room, The Vendor of Sweets and Waiting for the Mahatma . Really it shows a new dimension to Indian writing in English. We read many novels of western style where we come across western names for all characters and places etc.Normally we never see our own city names in English novels.
